The Samsung M110 Solid is now available direct from T-Mobile and it’s free on a 12 month contract from just £20 per month. Previously available only on O2 and Orange, the Solid is a tough and rugged mobile, being resistant to dust, shocks and water. Weighing just 95g, the Solid will still easily fit into your pocket. It has a flashlight, Bluetooth, a basic camera with video record, FM radio and MP3 player.

When talking about a rugged phone like the Samsung Solid, the obvious place to start is the design. The bodywork, if you like. And what a body it is, albeit more Mr Universe than Miss World. It’s designed that way for the express purpose of being resistant to dust, shocks and water. In fact, the phone is rated to IP54.
